Building and Grounds Team
This leadership team considers short- and long-term ways to insure the function, beauty and safety of our church campus and implements these projects.
Christian Education Team
This leadership team addresses issues of faith-formation and discipleship for all ages. (Ministry areas include Sunday School, Christmas Pageant, Summer Camp, Adult Education/Community Groups, Inquirer’s Class, Men’s Monthly Breakfasts, Prison Ministry.)
Congregational Care Team
This leadership team addresses ways in which guests and visitors are welcomed, and newer and old time members and attendees are included and able to connect and support one another. They oversee and plan a variety of activities and projects that are both fun and meaningful as they connect people to people.
This leadership team deals with the financial support needed by the church to carry out its ministry, and also developing the opportunities for people to grow spiritually though the responsibilities that are ours to be faithful stewards of our resources. This team develops and implements a yearly budget and makes recommendations to consistory in areas of finance.
This leadership team extends Christ’s grace and love for all people and puts that into action through organizing hands-on service projects and suggesting organizations that could use our financial benevolent support. They make recommendations to the consistory on ways to give a portion of our budget to various mission projects.
Worship Music & Arts Team
This leadership team works with the Minister of Music and Arts to plan opportunities to engage people in worship leadership, and new possibilities for worshiping God integrating creative visual and performing arts.
This leadership team focuses on ministry to youth (age 5-19) providing age-specific programming. Ministry areas include: XYG, Confirmation, Seaview, Kid’s Day Out.
This leadership team meets with staff members to do yearly evaluations and meets with the pastor regularly to provide support and a regular channel of communication between the pastor and the congregation. (HR experience helpful!).
