26 – Memorial Day Weekend

We are still preparing and serving meals for the Salvation Army on Tuesdays. Some of our “regulars” will be leaving for the summer, and we are in need of volunteers. Please consider just one Tuesday a month to help us out.

Mike Partain, our new Director of Music, arrived on island May 20 for 2 weeks to work on relocation plans, then officially begins working with us after Memorial Day weekend

Due to scheduling conflicts the gospel musical Out of Darkness has been cancelled. Many thanks to Jessica Henderson and all those involved in previous performances!

Time to start thinking about STRC Summer Camp! Camp will run from July 1 to July 26 this year. Information is posted on our website and applications are available. We are also looking for housing and transportation for 5 of our off-island staff who have been here before.

Another Women's Bible study will begin in June. Dates, times and locations to be announced next Sunday.

Save the Date! - June 2, “Summer Celebration Picnic” at Magens. at Magens Bay (to the far left) at noon – ? Drinks (water and lemonade) provided along with burgers and hot dogs.
